Personalized Travel Planning Designed Around You

Planning a trip today often means sorting through hundreds of hotels, attractions, and itineraries online. Custom travel planning simplifies the process by turning your ideas into a thoughtfully designed itinerary tailored specifically to you.

I help travelers design trips that balance logistics, experiences, and the freedom to explore. No trip is too big or too small. Your goal is to travel. Mine is to make sure you enjoy every possible moment of your adventure.

Instead of spending hours researching options, working with me guarantees you’ll have expert guidance, trusted recommendations, and a travel plan built around what matters most to you. I will take the time to get to know you, your likes, and your preferences so that every option I present to you is aligned with who you are.

How Custom Travel Planning Works

01

Initial Consultation

We start with a conversation about your destination ideas, travel style, timeline, and priorities. This helps me understand what kind of trip will be the best fit for you.

02

Research & Trip Design

I research hotels, neighborhoods, experiences, and logistics to design a personalized travel plan. You’ll receive curated recommendations tailored to your interests, budget, and travel goals.

03

Booking Your Travel Experiences

Once your plans are finalized, I coordinate and book eligible travel components such as hotels, resorts, cruises, tours, and experiences through trusted travel partners.

04

Flights & Transportation Guidance

While I'm unable to book flights directly, I’m happy to provide guidance on flight options, timing, and airport logistics so you can confidently book airfare that works with your itinerary.

05

Pre-Trip Preparation

Before departure, you’ll receive helpful travel tips, destination insights, and recommendations to help you make the most of your trip.

Travel With Confidence

During your trip, you’ll have a well-prepared itinerary and a trusted advisor available if you need guidance related to your travel arrangements.

Who Custom Travel Planning Is Best For

Travel planning services are especially helpful for travelers who:

want a personalized itinerary rather than a generic travel plan.

are visiting a destination for the first time

are planning complex or multi-destination trips

want expert hotel recommendations

prefer less stress and more guidance

If you enjoy researching every detail of a trip yourself, travel planning services may not be necessary. But if you’d rather spend less time comparing options and more time enjoying your destination, working with a travel advisor can make the process much easier.

Custom Travel Planning FAQs

Wondering how travel planning services work? Or maybe you’re wondering how travel advisors make money if we don’t charge for our services. Here are answers to common questions about working with a travel advisor and planning your trip.

Got a question?

I get it. Travel can be intimidating. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have, and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Do you charge a fee for travel planning?

In most cases, no. My services are complimentary because I receive commission from travel partners when bookings are made through me. For more complex itineraries or certain services that require a bit more legwork and research to make possible, a planning fee may apply, which will always be discussed upfront.

I don’t book flights directly. Airlines require the traveler listed on the ticket to manage most changes and communications, which can make it difficult for a third party to assist if issues arise. Instead, I’m happy to research flight options, suggest routes or timing that fit your itinerary, and help you book flights confidently on your own.

Working with a travel advisor gives you access to expert recommendations, personalized planning, and trusted travel partners. Many hotel bookings also include perks such as room upgrades, breakfast, or resort credits.

Yes. While I highlight certain destinations on my website, I can help plan trips almost anywhere in the world depending on your travel goals and interests.

It depends on the destination, but many trips benefit from planning four to nine months in advance. Popular destinations, cruises, and peak travel seasons may require even earlier planning.

If issues arise related to hotels or experiences booked through me, I can help coordinate with travel partners to assist. I also provide guidance before your trip so you’re well prepared.

Often, yes. I can still assist with hotels, activities, destination guidance, and itinerary planning depending on what parts of the trip are already arranged.
