I plan for you like I would for myself.

If I wouldn’t like it, I’m not going to recommend it to you. Simple as that. I’m not talking about taste preferences, I’m talking about back-to-back, no wiggle room itineraries, impossible travel & transfers, or unsafe accommodations. If I wouldn’t want to do that trip myself, I wouldn’t suggest it to you either.

Travel Advisor

When you book with me, you’re working with a dedicated and passionate individual, whose only goal is to ensure you have the best experience possible. Plus, you gain access to a treasure trove of insider knowledge & recommendations, not only from me, your dedicated Fora Advisor, but from Fora’s global network of travel experts and advisors. I have direct access to our whole team, which means even if I haven’t been to your dream destination, I can ask someone who has.

What does this mean, exactly? Instead of sifting through endless top ten lists and working with a call center or algorithm, as your Fora Advisor, I’m all about you. The process begins with an intake. Whether you prefer to connect via phone, Facetime, email or text, I’ll take the time to get to know you. I’ll listen to your expectations, preferences and budget, then get to work to deliver exactly what you want ….whether it’s a one-night staycation or a far-flung safari.

Plus, I live to curate ideal hotel experiences, including sourcing the best rates and unlocking VIP upgrades. And as an advisor, I always mind the details, from guaranteeing connecting rooms to confirming food allergies to adding special touches for birthdays.

In other words? You’ve got someone on your side who is doing all the heavy lifting. You’re working with someone who has shared interests and passion. not to mention expertise & planning experience in your chosen destination, who can help you plan the best possible trip. Plus, you benefit from dedicated, 1:1 support (and might even meet a cool new friend along the way!).

she/her

Hi, I’m Shae! I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my grandparents would take us places every school break. Our destinations always had historical ties and I 100% credit this for my ongoing love of history.

I am also an aspiring polyglot! Though English is my native language, I am pretty efficient in Spanish and Japanese as well. I’ve recently begun learning French, German, and Mandarin Chinese. There are so many other languages I’d like to learn, but there’s plenty of time for that!

When I’m not traveling, you can find me reading a good book, playing video games, or ragebaiting my pets. I would say you can find me at a soccer game, but if I’m being honest, half my traveling is related to those!

You can find my personal socials here!

Fun Facts About Your Travel Advisor

I believe it helps to feel like you know the person you’re trusting with your dream vacation, so here’s a few more facts about me.

01

I was born in Guam!

The reason you see me yapping so much about planning a trip to Guam is because it's my home! I am passionate about the island and the culture and I want so badly to share it with you all.

02

My dream Japan destination is Tottori

While Japan is on most people's travel bucket list, I don't dream of Tokyo. Don't get me wrong, I want to go there too, but my #1 location to visit in Japan is Tottori. My favorite anime is based on a small, coastal town in this prefecture.

03

I've been to almost every U.S. State

Back in 2016, I was offered a gig on the Vans Warped Tour. I had 24 hours to decide if I was going so, of course, I went. The tour was still going around the country at this point, so I saw all of it.

04

Spain kickstarted my love of pro soccer

Prior to my trip to Spain, I never watched pro soccer. This was 2011, when coverage in the US was still super limited and expensive. We were in Madrid during an El Clasico match. Madrid won and the city erupted! I've been chasing that high ever since.

Get to Know Your Travel Advisor

Still curious? I completely understand. Let me address some common questions I get.

Got a question?

I get it. Travel can be intimidating. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have, and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Why did you become a travel advisor?

Travel has always been a huge part of my life, and I love helping others experience the world in meaningful ways. Becoming a travel advisor allows me to combine that passion with thoughtful planning to help travelers create unforgettable trips.

I’m especially drawn to destinations with rich culture, history, and local experiences. I love exploring new cities, climbing any rocks I can get my feet on, and spending hours in museums.

Always create a plan, but leave room for flexibility. I personally love to travel with a list of ‘goals’ but I don’t like to lock them into specific time slots. Structured go-with-the-flow vibes.

Guam! Even though I was born there, I haven’t been back since I was an infant. It’s my dream destination and I can’t wait to step foot back on the island.

My Adventures

Full disclosure, when I was looking for photos for this gallery, I realized how many of my travel pics are awful! But it’s about the memories, right?

Don't Worry. I travel, too.
